What’s something that people don’t really know about you? One of my first jobs was working at a smoke shop – at the age of 16. GO EDMONTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More... Cindy Issac is currently the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) Deputy Head for Syria Crisis regional office in Amman, Jordan. Before moving to Jordan, Cindy was a senior human rights officer/child protection advisor for the UN mission in Afghanistan. Previously, she was the head of the central region office of UNOCHA in Afghanistan, and a former humanitarian affairs and the headquarters emergency officer with UNOCHA in Sudan and with UNRWA in Jerusalem, respectively. Prior to this work, Cindy was employed with the international NGO CARE Canada in several conflict countries.

She is originally from Edmonton and often returns home to visit her family and friends.
